On July 16, in New York Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Abdallah Bou Habib, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lebanon.

The interlocutors discussed issues of regional stability and security.

Views were exchanged on recent developments and the security situation in the South Caucasus and Middle East.

Ararat Mirzoyan presented Armenia’s efforts aimed at reaching durable peace in the region, the existing challenges on the path of implementation of the peace agenda as well as the work undertaken towards signing the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the importance of its signing in the nearest timeframe.

Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Lebanon also touched upon the bilateral agenda as well as the engagements on multilateral formats.
