On July 18, in London, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom David Lammy.

Issues of bilateral agenda were discussed. The possibilities of further enhancing the Armenia-UK political dialogue and deepening of cooperation in areas of mutual interest, in line with the strategic dialogue launched in November last year, were touched upon.

Ararat Mirzoyan and David Lammy exchanged views on the regional issues.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia presented the latest developments in the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, stressing the possibility and importance of signing the peace treaty in a short timeframe. Minister Mirzoyan thanked the UK side for its interest and support in the peace process.
