On September 2, on the sidelines of the Bled Strategic Forum, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan had a meeting with Stephen Doughty, the Minister of State of the United Kingdom for Europe, North America and Overseas Territories.

During the meeting, the agenda of bilateral relations between Armenia and the United Kingdom, as well as the joint steps aimed at its development, were discussed.

The strategic dialogue established between the two countries and its substantial enhancement were also touched upon.

Views were exchanged regarding the efforts aimed at stability and peace in the South Caucasus. In this context, Vahan Kostanyan reiterated the readiness of the Government of Armenia to sign the agreement on the normalization of relations with Azerbaijan in the near future.
