Meeting of the Foreign Minister of Armenia with the Vice President of the European Commission

On October 1, within the framework of the Warsaw Security Forum, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia had a meeting with Věra Jourová, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission for Values and Transparency.

The interlocutors discussed issues on the agenda of deepening partnership with the EU.

The recent achievements resulting from close cooperation, along with the positive dynamics in discussions on the development of the new partnership agenda between Armenia and the EU were noted with satisfaction.

Foreign Minister of Armenia and Vice President of the European Commission touched upon the process of the ambitious reforms implemented by the Republic of Armenia in the areas of human rights protection, the rule of law, and the strengthening of democratic institutions, and also cooperation with the EU in this direction. The importance of continuous active engagement in the spheres of education, science, and culture, including through the "Horizon Europe" program for research and innovation and "Creative Europe" was emphasized.
