Participation of the Foreign Minister of Armenia in the Warsaw Security Forum
02 October, 2024On October 1-2, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan visited Poland, where, for the first time, Armenia was represented in the Warsaw Security Forum on the level of the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
On October 1, after the official welcome by the Forum's Chair, Katarzyna Pisarska, Minister Mirzoyan had a meeting with the founder of the Forum, the President of the "Casimir Pulaski" Foundation, Zbigniew Pisarski.
The interlocutors exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, including possible cooperation between the Warsaw Security Forum and the Yerevan Dialogue, the latter held for the first time in September. The efforts aimed at deepening Armenia's partnership with the EU and, in particular, the issues of cooperation with partners from Poland in that direction were touched upon.
On the same day, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan participated in the official opening ceremony of the Warsaw Security Forum, where Polish President Andrzej Duda delivered remarks.
Within the framework of the event, Minister Mirzoyan also held discussions with counterparts.
On October 2, Minister Mirzoyan participated in the high-level discussion titled "Global Order and Democracy: A Map for the South Caucasus".
