On February 18, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Mnatsakan Safaryan received Augusto Da Silva Cunha, the newly appointed Ambassador of Angola to the Republic of Armenia (residence: Moscow), on the occasion of handing over the copy of his credentials.

Congratulating the Ambassador on his appointment, the Deputy Minister expressed hope that he would spare no effort to strengthen Armenia-Angola relations and advance cooperation. 

The interlocutors touched upon the prospects of activating bilateral political dialogue, boosting trade-economic ties, as well as enhancing cooperation in various sectors: information technologies, diamond processing, capacity building and other areas of mutual interest.
