On February 19-20 in Hamburg, Germany, on the sidelines of the “New Routes, New Markets: Global Gateway and Potential Markets Along the Middle Corridor” Conference, jointly organized by the German Eastern Business Association and the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan participated in the Ministerial Panel discussion and delivered remarks. 

In his remarks, the Deputy Minister provided a detailed presentation of the “Crossroads of Peace” initiative, developed by the Government of Armenia as a key guarantee for economic connectivity and peace in the South Caucasus. It has been emphasised that the initiative aims to establish connections between East and West, North and South, to promote political dialogue and achieve comprehensive and sustainable peace in the region through the strengthening of economic and cultural ties, for the benefit of all peoples.

The Deputy Minister also highlighted Armenia’s vision for regional and global connectivity and trade development, which will create new prospects both within the region and beyond.
