On February 25, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Paruyr Hovhannisyan received Chris Allan, the Director for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office of the United Kingdom, Special Envoy for the Armenia-Azerbaijan Peace Process.

During the meeting, the Deputy Foreign Minister briefed on the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and Armenia’s vision aimed at ensuring stability and lasting peace in the South Caucasus.

The "Crossroads of Peace" initiative developed by the Government of the Republic of Armenia was touched upon, reiterating Armenia’s determination regarding the unblocking of transportation routes.

During the meeting bilateral agenda issues between Armenia and the United Kingdom were also discussed.
