On March 18, newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Swiss Confederation Hasmik Tolmajian officially presented her credentials to the President of the Swiss Confederation Karin Keller-Sutter during a formal ceremony held at the Federal Palace of Switzerland. 

Ambassador Tolmajian conveyed the warm greetings and best wishes of the President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan to the Swiss President and to the people of Switzerland. The Ambassador reaffirmed Armenia's commitment to further strengthening the friendly bilateral relations and fostering cooperation in areas of mutual interest. Ambassador Tolmajian highlighted Armenia's perspectives on regional developments and emphasized the state's determination to contribute to the establishment of peace and stability in the region.

The Swiss President welcomed Ambassador Tolmajian and reaffirmed Switzerland's dedication to deepening bilateral ties, emphasizing the shared values of democracy and human rights, as well as historic ties and mutual respect that underpin bilateral relations.
