On March 20, during his official visit to Brazil, Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan delivered a speech at the Rio Branco Institute of Diplomacy.

In his speech, Minister Mirzoyan touched upon Armenian-Brazilian bilateral relations, the cultural ties connecting the two peoples, the great potential for cooperation, the directions outlined following his meeting with Brazil’s Foreign Minister the previous day, as well as regional and global challenges.

The Minister provided a detailed overview of the process of normalizing relations with neighbors, including Azerbaijan, also addressing the finalization of the Peace Treaty and Armenia’s proposal for its signing.

About sixty students from Brazil and other countries participated in the discussion at the Institute. Minister Mirzoyan answered a number of their questions, touching upon Armenia’s foreign policy priorities, the development and prospects of international partnerships aimed at their implementation.

Minister Mirzoyan made an entry in the book of honored guests.
